Review: Mahesh Khaleja
"Comedy cheste nene cheyalroy" is a dialogue by Mahesh in the movie and it gives you the complete picture of what to expect from the movie.
Mahesh Babu is back after 3 years and like never before. All the criticism that he doesn't utter more dialogues can rest in peace as he leaves the critics nothing to point at this time around. He is a treat to watch in action sequences.
Anushka does well and is limited to songs in the 2nd half. Rao Ramesh and Shafi played the best roles in their careers, especially Shafi deserves a mention for his portrayal of 'Siddha'- the devotee of Raju, taxi driver.
Dialogues by Trivikram are excellent in places and sound repetitive in some. Overall he succeeded in presenting a new Mahesh to silver screen.
Music by Mani Sharma is not his best. Only 2-3 songs may impress the audience but the BGM is effective.
The negative points could be the under utilization of other roles, the whole plot-revealing in last part of the movie making the screenplay look complicated and lengthy, super human stunts at some places like the Scorpio-wheel-popping stunt.
If you can live with the coincidences in the 2nd half which corroborate the villagers' belief that the protagonist is God, you are in for a treat. Irrespective of how the movie does in the long run, its definitely a milestone in Mahesh career as he dons the comedy and loud drama departments which were untouched by him.
The climax fight also deserves applause as it was shot in a very fresh manner with high emotional appeal.

XIMB GDPI
I was waiting outside the room, chatting with a girl about the probable questions based on the feedback given by candidates who came out earlier. 2 of them were asked major cities in Orissa. This girl said that she knows only Bhubaneshwar(college unnadhe akkada adhi telikunda ela untundi :P). I said I know Bhubaneshwar and Cuttack(antha kante manaki matram em telisi chachindile). I was called in.

No Sir. I went to beach only once and lost my phone so never went again (they laughed; naa phone pothe meeku navostunda :x)

It'll improve Sir. First it increased from 10th to 12th then it decreased so the pattern says it should increase (navveskunnaru)

Chemical Engineers are required in any industry involving large scale processes with heat and mass transfer.
What are the major problems faced by a cement industry?

Yes Sir. Managing human resources is a problem and sometimes they have to shut down whole plant for maintenance.

Sudheer-Magadheera
Don't know why IIMs are so kind to me that they don't want me to take the trouble of traveling to attend their GD-PI sessions. Instead of accepting defeat for conducting CAT so horribly they now are making things worse by showing that even they lost belief in their own exam. They came up with weird shortlisting criteria and God knows why we had to write CAT in first place when people above 99.9 are still waiting for a single call! The rest of the post is a movie spoof and is in Telugu.

'Leader'- Audio Review
Song 1: Maa Telugu Thalliki 4/5
Singer: Late Sri Tanguturi Surya Kumari
Title song. The famous "Maa Telugu Thalliki" original is used and well worked. The background music which runs throughout the song goes well with the song.
Song 2: Aunana Kaadhana 4.5/5
Singers: Naresh Iyer, Shwetha Pandit
Naresh Iyer and Shwetha both sang different songs on Kotha Bangaru Lokam for Mickey and both worked well (Nenani Neevani and Ok Anesa). This time they both got together for this song. The drum work is pleasant and the song is a treat.
Song 3: Vandemataram 4.5/5
Singer: Nakash Aziz
The role of selecting the proper singer for a song to do well is very important and this song proves it. Nakash's voice had the sophistication required to make this song sound awesome. Mickey did a great work too.
Song 4: Rajasekhara 4/5
Singer: Shweta Pandit

The role of selecting the proper singer for a song to do well is very important and this song proves it. Nakash's voice had the sophistication required to make this song sound awesome. Mickey did a great work too.

Arya 2 Music Review
Purely personal review :)
Was waiting for a good audio since Oy! and got one thanks to DSP for a "Arya" like audio once again

Lyrics : Vanamali
Sagar sang the slower version rather the softer version of the song(reviewed next). His voice is apt for this version of the song. Lyrics are easy to catch. Senti feel song.

Faster version of the above mentioned song with more beats(DSP style :D) Kunal apt for the tempo.

A dance number. Full of energy. The song is like celebrating a break up. The tune is awesome. Ranjith has been my favorite behind Karthik and this is one of his best songs. I personally like the lyrics because of experience :P. This will be a big hit among the broken hearts.

AH5 to AH8- a difficult transition
New post after a break with a new look to the blog :)
Unlike some people from my college, we didn't have to move to another hostel after the end of 1st year or 2nd. But last semester we received a notice that we have to shift to a new hostel before we leave for the vacation and were allowed to choose from the rooms which were going to be vacated by the students leaving for their Practice School for the next semester.
Though there was a feeling that we may miss the hostel where we lived 3 years, I never thought it would be this difficult. We were the first batch of students to reside in our old hostel AH5 and the first ever inter-hostel competition AH5 participated was Big Break(conducted for freshers), which we won!
Our hostel had the best of everything: controversies, gaming, noisy common room(with TV and carroms), passionate football fans and many more
Whenever AH5 people meet these days, we keep discussing about how life is so different and how badly we miss our what used to be "the second home". Though this is the last semester in campus and the only semester we have to live in another hostel its difficult to halt the memories coming back every now and then.
Finally, if any of you are made to shift your hostels every year IMO you shouldn't feel bad(I know shifting is a tough job) because its difficult to leave a place if you stay there for a long time.
